I think that my main task as an artist is to show beauty and uniqueness of everything around us.
Higher education in Design
I am Aleksandra Chu, a graphic artist from Moscow. In 2006, I graduated from Moscow Art Academic Lyceum of Russian Arts Academy, department of painting. I got my degree in Design of Architectural Space. I’ve taken part in many exhibitions with the series of graphic works ‘Aesthetics of Outskirts’. To create it, I’ve drawn almost all the manufacturing zones of Moscow and Moscow Region, using only a liner and colored paper. I predominantly draw from life, that’s why I always have a sketchbook with me. Year and a half ago, I got interested in the series of works ‘Light Inside’, dedicated to countryside houses and barracks. I’m working on it using both traditional media (liners, markers, white pen, pastel pencils, gouache) and digital tools.
